Our Neighborhood

Ortaköy is one of Istanbul's oldest neighborhoods, located on the Bosphorus and next to the bridge that connects Europe and Asia. The area is known for its old wooden houses, small cobbled streets and family-friendly atmosphere. At the top of the neighborhoods are views out over the city, and on the waterfront is the famous Ortaköy mosque, right by the sea. 

Mita' Homes is on a quiet, cobbled street close to the heart of the neighborhood. Just 8 minutes walk away are all of Ortaköy's restaurants, cafes, art studios, street markets, antique shops, bars and nightclubs. 

Within walking distance are the lovely seaside neighborhoods of Arnavutköy and Bebek, and the historic Sultanahmet, Taksim and Beşiktaş are a short journey away. Bosphorus boat tours and ferry services regularly depart from Ortaköy pier, allowing you to experience the city from the sea and travel to Asia.
