Western minimalism; Eastern opulence; Ortaköy outside; home inside.
Mita' Homes was built from the ground up to blend modern Western minimalism with Eastern opulence and traditional local designs. We designed the exterior of the building to complement the local tradition of wooden buildings and the rich history of islamic tiling, using sleek wooden paneling and colorful tiles in a modern, minimalist way. We wanted to reflect the greens of our quiet, treelined location, and blend into the area while standing out from the buildings around.
As soon as you enter our front door, though, you step into a different world. Our polished stone steps lead to unique apartments, each slightly different but all equally welcoming. We paid attention to the smallest details, because we know that it's the little things that make a house a home.
Large windows let you see the vibrant neighborhood all around and fill the apartments with natural light, while double glazing keeps out unwanted sound and maintains the perfect climate. Traditional Turkish tiles sit alongside modern metro tiles; muted colors and pastel shades are complemented with little flashes of color. Everything comes together to give the feeling of effortless class.
The result is a place where you can relax, let your hair down and get comfy: an oasis in a foreign city, your home in Istanbul.
